Servings 8 servings of 2 Tbsp

Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups basil lightly packed
  • 1/4 cup walnuts toasted quickly in pan or toaster oven
  • 1/4 tsp salt (or more to taste)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/3 cup olive oil

Instructions

  1. Add basil, walnuts, salt, and garlic to food processor and blend
  2. Add Parmesan and continue to blend
  3. Add butter and olive oil, and blend until well combined

Recipe Notes

Initially I made this with 1/2 cup walnuts instead of 1/4 cup. It was a little too nutty. And when you're toasting the nuts, make sure not to burn them - it's easy to do!
