Cold Brew Coffee: The Golden Ratio

Here's the recipe and ratio to make the perfect iced coffee, every time.

Course Breakfast
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 2 servings

  • 2/3 cup coffee coarsely ground
  • 3 cups cold water

  1. Combine coffee grounds and water in a French Press, measuring cup, or mason jar.

  2. Let sit for 12-24 hours.

  3. Plunge your French Press or filter the mixture through a metal or paper coffee filter.

  4. Serve as you like it (milk, cream, sugar) and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

With this golden ratio, I don't need to water down my coffee as this isn't a "cold brew concentrate" - I usually just add a small dallop of milk and it's perfect. Depending on your preferences or the roast of your beans, you might want to adjust or add a splash of water as needed.
